      What is the Auction Pipeline?
The Auction Pipeline is a source of concise auction sale information from not only Charleston Auto Auction, but many other member auctions.  The Auction Pipeline has auction inventory reports, sale lists, market reports, presale and post sale results, no sale lists, vehicle search engines, notification features, and much more!  When registered, car dealers and auction institutional consignors have access to all data on the Pipeline.  Non-dealers have limited access to public information.

How do I get on the Auction Pipeline?
Registration is quick and easy, especially if you have an Auction Access number.  Merely follow the easy registration process when you first log in.  If you have trouble registering or do not have an Auction Access number, please contact Bobby Bailey at (843) 719-1900.

Who can participate in Charleston Auto Auction sales?
Charleston Auto Auction is a dealer only auction.  We do not conduct any public auctions.

How do I get an Auction ID card?
Once your application and authorization is complete you will be notified then simply come to the auction during normal business hours and bring your valid driver’s license.

Can I use my Auction ACCESS® card at Charleston Auto Auction?
Yes you can!  Charleston Auto Auction takes full advantage of the Auction ACCESS® system to make it easy for dealers to register, attend the auction, and buy vehicles without the need for time-consuming registration processes or additional ID cards.  See any Charleston dealer registration representative to activate your ACCESS® card for sale-day check-in, purchasing vehicles in the lanes, and for attaining information from our Dealer Kiosk centers.

How can I get weekly email notifications of upcoming sales & special events at Charleston Auto Auction?
The easiest and most efficient way is to sign up for the Auction Pipeline and set your user preferences to send you an e-mail when sales or vehicles you are interested in are available for sale.  You can also contact our Marketing Department to request specific lists.

How do I add a representative to my dealership?
Request and complete an authorization form to be signed by the President and notarized.  (See Dealer Registration For Details)

How do I pay for my purchases?
You are expected to pay for your purchases day of sale. You can either floor plan your vehicles, pay by check (if approved) or pay by cash (includes certified check).

How do I Floor Plan?
As soon as you arrive check in with the counter staff and tell them with whom you are floor planning. You should be approved by your selected Floor Planner prior to attending.

When can I pick up vehicles I purchased?
Monday thru Saturday during gate hours. click here for hours

Where do I go to have something faxed or copied?
At the entrance of the building, next to dealer registration and the front counter.  Both a copier and fax machine are available for dealer use.

What lists are available and where do I find them?
Run lists and market reports are available through our website (AuctionPipeline), by fax (call to be added to weekly fax list), or by email (click here to sign up for weekly newsletter with run list).  Run lists are also available at dealer registration and at the front counter at the auction Tuesday - Thursday.

How can I locate a specific vehicle I want to purchase?
Ask someone at the Customer Service counter located in the arena on saleday.  They will identify any vehicle by year, make, model and provide you with lane, lot and seller.

Can I bring a guest to the auction? Why doesn’t the auction allow retail customers?
The auction is a place of business for professionals like yourself and to ensure wholesale prices we ask only licensed dealers and their buyers to attend. This rule is strictly enforced.

Can I bring my child to the auction?
No. We love children and would not want anyone’s child injured at our Auction. This is a very fast paced environment.

How do I get a Hotel Reservation or Airport pick up?
Call the Marketing Department. Your reservation must be made through us to get the "Auction Rate" at specific hotels. For airport pick up please have your airline, flight number and arrival time available when you call. Also let us know if you will need returned to the airport.  Please allow some extra time to ensure you make your flight.
