Charleston Auto Auction Offers Mechanical Inspection and Warranty Service

Charleston Auto Auction offers Mechanical Inspection services on the day of sale.  This inspection is done for a nominal fee and aligns with all auction lighting systems and arbitration rules.  If a potential issue is discovered during the inspection process by our NAAA Certified technicians, the vehicle will be entered into arbitration for further evaluation by our trained Arbitration Specialists.  By taking the burden of test-driving vehicles off of the dealer, you can stay in the sales lane and do what you do best -- buy vehicles!

To buy with even more confidence, take advantage of our Warranty Program that is available for select vehicles.  The non-transferable warranty is done for a fee and covers the drive train (engine, transmission, differential, four-wheel drive, and clutch on a manual transmission).  It is valid for a period of 7 days (sale day to sale day) or 500 miles -- whichever occurs first.  To qualify, the vehicle must be 5 years old or newer with less than 100,000 miles.  If a warrantable issue arises, Charleston Auto Auction reserves the right to repair the vehicle or repurchase the vehicle.

Charleston Auto Auction 95% Buy Back Program

Can’t sell your unit after 60 days?  No problem.  Charleston Auto Auction will buy it back for 95% of what you bought it for.

Sellers:  Prior to a Charleston Auto Auction sale, a seller can choose which units he would like to have the 95% Buy Back Guarantee placed on.  These units will be sticker and flagged showing they come with the guarantee.  You only pay the $75 fee on the units that sell.   

Buyers:  If a qualifying unit does not already have the 95% Buy Back Guarantee, you can have one placed on a unit you buy.  The price is $75 plus a $35 Post Sale Inspection (same day warranty) or $95 Post Sale Inspection (7 day warranty).

To qualify the unit must sell for over $1000 and under $30,000 and not have mileage over 125,000.  It also cannot be a commercial unit, have frame, flood, or any other title branding.  These units cannot be sold Off Block or red light.

Units bought back must not have over 750 miles from time of original auction purchase and must be in the same physical condition.
